When traveling offshore, having ample emergency equipment is essential. Our radio housing mounts directly to your OEM hood cowling and tailored for Standard Horizon GX1400 Series Radios. These housings are produced using 3D printing with SLS PA12 Nylon and are subjected to vapor fusion for a robust and waterproof finish.
The kit comprises of a radio enclosure, stainless steel hardware, a 10-foot power harness, and neoprene gasketing. The installation process is simple and step-by-step instructions are included. Simply secure the enclosure, route the power harness from your radio to your battery, and it's ready to go. There's also an optional antenna bracket with a scout antenna mount available.
For added security on your adventures, choose the housing kit that includes a bilge alarm.
